Before Every Shipment: Inside Lulu Living's Packing and Stuffing Process
When people think about furniture manufacturing, they usually imagine woodworking, finishing, or weaving. But one important stage often goes unnoticed—the journey from our warehouse to the customer's destination.

At Lulu Living, packing is never treated as the final task. It's part of the production process. Every cabinet, chair, dining table, or bench has already passed quality inspection, and the next priority is making sure it arrives in exactly the same condition.

For most export orders, we use Single Face packaging combined with corner protectors. This method keeps the furniture protected without adding unnecessary weight to the shipment. Some customers, however, request full carton box packaging, especially for retail distribution or projects that require extra protection during transportation.

The way we load a container is just as important as the packaging itself. Our team doesn't simply place furniture wherever it fits. Larger items are loaded first, followed by smaller pieces that help maximize container space while keeping every product stable throughout the journey. A well-organized container means less movement during shipping and a lower risk of damage when the goods arrive.

Not every shipment is destined for overseas customers. Throughout the year, Lulu Living also prepares furniture for local exhibitions and design events. These deliveries often require faster loading and unloading because the products need to be displayed immediately after arriving at the venue. Careful handling is essential, especially for pieces that will become the center of attention in a showroom.

Every shipment starts from our warehouse in Kartasura, Central Java, where finished furniture is inspected, packed, labeled, and prepared for dispatch. Before the container doors are closed, our logistics team performs one final inspection to make sure every item is secured properly.

For us, quality isn't measured only by how a piece of furniture is crafted. It is also reflected in how safely it reaches its destination. Whether the shipment is crossing the ocean or traveling to an exhibition hall, every product leaves Lulu Living with the same attention to detail that goes into making it.
